About me: Currently Road Manager with G.M.T. (Guy,McCoy,Torme), I have worked with Bernie Torme since 1999. Prior to that I spent many years and travelled the world with the late, great Paul Samson, on solo projects as well as the band Samson. I have also worked and toured with John McCoy, Thunderstick, Sledgehammer, The Q Tips, The Ya Ya's, U.S. blues supremo Jimmy Dillon, and many others since the late 70's. Was part of the stage crew at the legendary Gravesend/Northfleet Red Lion between 1978 and 1981, and worked with many bands from that era, along with various agents and promoters.
During 2006, along with John McCoy, I oversaw the release the posthumous Paul Samson cd "P.S...." (Angel Air SJPCD220) . There are previews at http://www.myspace.com/paulsamsonuk. I also compiled, edited and provided sleevenotes for the Samson compilation "Tomorrow and Yesterday" (Angel AirSJPCD219)
Last year I was interviewed by author Joe Shooman for his book on Bruce Dickinson, covering the time that Bruce was playing the London pubs with The Shots, his introduction to Paul Samson and Thunderstick, and his time in Samson. I also supplied some previously unseen pictures. The book is now available through Independant Music Press.
My agenda for 2008 includes some dates with GMT, although other commitments prevent me from spending too much time on the road, and gigs with Folkestone based Gaijin. I am still working through the drafts of Paul Samson's book based on his 1976-1985 tour diaries, which I hope to get published this year, as well as the unreleased Thunderstick 2nd album.
new projects include a total rebuild of the out of date Paul Samson and Thunderstick wesites, once I have got my head around css, javascript, php etc.
