red wine, the moon, the sun, the stars, love, misery, rain, sex, the ocean, lightening, faith, thunder, loss, death, devastation, hypocrisy, the desert, bob marley, jim morrison, the eagles, john mellencamp, ryan adams & the bodeans
rob strips songs of faith, freedom, hope and inspiration down to an intimate, thought-provoking moment between musician and listener. This album bleeds sincerity.
a rare work of naked honesty of rob's past and the present time. the emotions in these songs will stick in your head for weeks, months and years to come. A blend of acoustic instrumentation with a rock edge.
with lyrics painting a picture drawing from common experiences we all face with the world around us - love, loss, desire & faith but most importantly our hopes & dreams rob offers a blend of acoustic rock songs.
from former angst of being a loud and proud rocker into an acoustic heartfelt singer; it's as if john mellencamp channeled the spirit of neil diamond on rob's debut release. A blend of alternative country rock songs.
combining the harmony of pop with singer-songwriter sensibility and outlining an acoustic instrumentation with a rock edge rob is truly at home performing over 200 shows and events a year. he occupies a unique musical space by catching his audience unaware and transporting them to a place of pure rock pleasure.
an award winning singer/songwriter who has proudly written and recorded 3 albums of music ranging from acoustic rock to folk to alternative country rock anthony is preparing to release his 4th album of acoustic music called 'while the world sleeps'.
rob's inaugural acoustic project again finds the singer-songwriter comfortably baring his heart on his sleeve. the album bleeds sincerity, from the realization that “i don’t need much” to his humbling cry for america in the record’s title track. mid-album on nationwide hit “down the road,” an acoustic tribute to truckers who daily help to move the world along, rob sings: “the sun sets down on a painted sky/it’s always hard to say goodbye/i never leave your smile behind/i take all of you with me,” coloring an emotional canvas torn between duty and guilt, pride and love, that resonates with the american people.
anthony’s journey started off at an early age. after several years of touring nationally, rob decided to trade in long hair & shredding guitar licks of his former heavy metal days in acrophet for a faux hawk and acoustic guitar returning to his midwestern roots focusing on singing & songwriting.
his debut album “hard to believe” was released in 2000 and received critical acclaim receiving 2 awards for best pop album by songwriters of wisconsin (sowi). anthony’s sophomore release “where i belong” in 2004 earned him awards with the wisconsin area music industry (wami) including ‘people’s choice artist’ and ‘acoustic artist of the year’. anthony’s latest release “inside you inside me” (2006) breaks new ground as a breadth of raw emotion fills the quiet intimate moments while at other times the music builds with massive rhythm.
while anthony has certainly enjoyed his success as a singer/songwriter, one thing is certain he hasn’t forgotten where he’s come from and is happy to give back to his community. his constant touring, contributions and pure love of music has won fans over and in 2005 and 2006 they voted him people's choice artist in northeast wisconsin.
some may say its hard to believe that a lead guitarist for a heavy metal band can return to his roots and belt out passionate, soulful acoustic rock in the tradition of the masters but he can and he does, which makes his musical journey as an heir to heartland rock remarkable, indeed.

"this other life that beckons us lets us ride free. it lets us take a part of ourselves to better the world and better our craft. it’s an inner struggle – remembering smiles of those you love under starry skies, longing to be back with them and knowing what you’re doing is making a difference in the world.
just as the road leads you away, though, it brings you back to the things that matter. the same things that got you from city lights to mountaintops and a thousand miles back again.
‘down the road’ is dedicated to the backbone of this country - the men and women who bring everything we need day-to-day and to the families who await there safe return.
we all need champions from the special olympics to show us how to believe in our hopes and dreams. to encourage and inspire us to be the best we can be during some of life's toughest challenges.
