Rob Ashford is a Leeds based singer/songwriter who is the lead singer/guitarist and songwriter for Leeds band Eight Storys High.
Along with Bassist - Niall Stanworth, Drummer - Mark Woolsey and Lead Guitarist Andy Batchelor the eights are currently playing gig's in and around Leeds and recording tracks for a forthcoming e.p.

Rob started playing guitar and writing songs after many, many years of being part of the dance/house scene and went from dancing all night in various clubs listening to music to writing and creating his own.
Rob has played for a number of Leeds bands as a guitarist, keyboardist and singer but always felt he belonged upfront with his own messages.
Rob has already had excellent feedback from London based record companies including Columbia/Sony and Virgin Records and his music had been described as "Fresh and Innovative" by Guy Bulland (Head A&R Exec) at Virgin and "Catchy, whitty writing with a real positive attitude and a nice vibe" by Mark Brown (Columbia/Sony Records)
