This transition was partially expedited by the high level of maintenance involved in keeping Robautomaton from ennui. Facing cultural obsolescence, Robautomaton spent the next several hundred years in neglect underground subsisting on water / electrolyte elixirs... ..It is doubtful that modern society would have any residual knowledge of the particular unit, if it wasn't for a reemergence into the general populace brought on by a singularity crisis following the Ascetic Revolution.
