ROB BAUMIESTER is a blues guitarist from Deptford, NJ with a passion for music. Calling on a host of influences and drawing from a unique vein of creativity, Rob's love of quality music and his pursuit of excellence make him one of the top undiscovered talents in the nation.
In 2007, Rob participated in Guitar Center's annual King of the Blues contest and made it to the final round; a one night show where he'd share the stage with Kenny Wayne Shepherd and The Black Crowes at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood, CA. There he showcased his electric and acoustic guitar chops along side some of the best blues guitarists in the nation. Though Rob did not take home the 50,000 dollar prize package that night, he's remained grounded, passionate, and committed to writing and playing great music.
If anyone wants to go let me know soon, we have to pay ahead of time. We also plan on spreading the ashes that night too. The boat takes off about 20 miutes from my house, Point Pleasant, NJ. Let me know...
