When I needed you, you were there faster than I could have imagined, and when you were there you were the best support anyone could ask for. I coulda/shoulda been really terrified, but I was free to just let myself be in the moment because you were my rock. I knew if I needed to be really scared I would see it in your face. And of course, I really needed to be terrified, but you never wavered. I already knew you were the person I wanted by my side, but now I know if there was any fear at all that I was wrong, it won't be returning. I love you. Thank you. Invalids can be a real pain in the ass, but you don't make me feel like a burden. lauren correct	Jan 5 2009 6:06 AM I am thanking you in advance for your support in reconciling with my husband, Robbie. After nearly a year of confusing a lot of people, we now have a clearly defined relationship. He is my person, (and btw, I totes said that waaaaaaay before Grey's Anatomy,) and I am ready to re-start my life with him. Life is hard, and I want to live it with Robbie Donohoe. Robbie, the first time I married you, it was for health benefits. The second time, well, it wasn't "marriage," but a commitment ceremony, and while I didn't go against anything I promised, I didn't promise very much in the first place. I was scared and not ready to settle down or tell you I could do things when I wasn't sure if I could. Perhaps three times really is a charm. My ending words are still true, and always have been: "Life may not offer us the richest wine or the sweetest fruit, but there's no one I'd rather eat bruised apples or drink sour wine with than you. " Nothing in my life (besides our daughter, obvy) this year has been as fulfilling as the love that we share together. The growth we've both experienced this year as individuals makes us stronger humans, and gives us a stronger union. Having a chance to lose sight of ourselves and our actions and find them again was scary and painful, but we are better for it. The road ahead isn't the easiest, but walking down it with my best friend is the only way I'd want to go.
