Rob's main gig is as lead vocalist/guitarist with the classic rock band "Lunatic Fringe", with Keiley on bass, Chris DaCunha on lead guitar, and Drake Thompson on drums.
Rob also performs a solo acoustic show, teams up with Mike Lecuyer as the acoustic duo "Rob and Mike", and then again with Mike in the acoustic trio "Hat Trick", with Randy Breton rounding out the lineup.
Influences
It all started with The Beatles and the British Invasion. Then the classic rock of the 70's, Springsteen, and then into the 80's--in all it's pop, punk, new wave glory! The 90's brought the unplugged phenomenon (thanks Jon and Richie), and then modern country onto Rob's radar screen. He respects and enjoys many other genres, including swing and big band, jazz, blues, and folk.

Over the last (AHEM!!!) several years, Rob has been in several bands, trios, duos, and has also performed as a solo artist at local watering holes all over MA and NH. He has been influenced by music since early childhood. There was always music playing in the house or on long car trips, where he learned to sing harmonies. At the age of 8 he took up the guitar, but a year later gave it up for the drums, and spent the next 5 years as a drummer in several garage bands. When some high school friends who had a band had a falling out with their singer, they asked Rob to take his place. He’s been a singer ever since. From 1996-2001, Rob teamed up with his cousin Randy Breton and Ken Lemire, to form the successful acoustic trio, "The Jass Brothers". Their tag line was "A band..a party...an experience!" What an experience it was.....it was at this time that he met his future (now current) wife, Holly. Also, Rob and Randy released a CD with a couple of original rock tunes, under the name “Gigolo Souls”, and the songs were well received. In 2002, Rob and Randy, together with local musician and web guru Rick Breslin, created "LowellRocks.com"--a website dedicated to the live music scene in Greater Lowell and Southern NH. It has been a huge success, helping bands and venues get the word out about what’s happening with live music. Currently, Rob has 3 musical ventures that he is involved with. They are the classic rock band "Lunatic Fringe", the acoustic duo "Rob and Mike" (with Mike Lecuyer of Sugarfoot), and "Hat Trick"--an acoustic trio reminiscent of "The Jass Brothers", reuniting him with Randy. What is most important to Rob? It is NOT music--though music comes a close 6th, after his wife (Holly), kids (Kayla, Ally, and Zack), parents, and in-laws, and let’s not forget his prize bulldog, Bambi.
