I hope you enjoy the new track and video, it's been getting great response from music blogs around the world. The album will follow in Feb 2010, so not long now!
For those in the USA, make sure you watch MTV on Tuesday night at 11pm as another new song of mine 'Irresistible' will be on their new show Styl'd...
Thanks to everyone who came to see us play live last night for Electroqueer blog's club night in East London and also to everyone who came last week to see us live at Proud Galleries... it's been a great week!!
I sing in a band called Temposhark. We’ve just released our debut album ’The Invisible Line’ produced by Guy Sigsworth (2 songs) and Sean McGhee (10 songs). Other collaborations on the album include awesome singer Imogen Heap on ’Not That Big’, legendary producer Youth on ’Blame’ and cool violinist Sophie Solomon on ’Battleships’. It’s out in good record shops as a CD and digital download from 25th March 2008 (USA/Canada on Defend Music via Ryko & Paper and Glue) and soft released in Europe on 24th March 2008 (UK/France/Germany/all of Europe on Defend Music & Paper and Glue). The Europe release is a soft release due to touring commitments in North America, Temposhark will return to Europe in late May and the album will have more promotion through July, with ’Blame’ as a full UK single package in the last week of June.
The iTunes album comes with a bonus track called ’Neon Question Mark’ which is a totally new version of the song produced by Sean McGhee. You will also find a downloadable PDF artwork file comes with the album too.
If you enjoy it, do tell your friends!
Let us know your thoughts? Hope to see you at one of our gigs! We first came over to the USA in March to perform live at SXSW 2007. *Our first sold out USA tour was in June 2007 stopping in the following places: New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and back to New York for the end of the tour.* IT WAS A RIOT! WE’LL BE BACK IN APRIL & MAY 2008 FOR MORE USA TOURING!
Check out this behind the scenes video of us recording at RAK Studios in London! The song synced to it is called ’Blame’ taken from my first album. Enjoy!
Thanks for the add Rob. Metonia wish you well and hope all your ventures and adventures are good ones. Please feel free to come back to our space anytime and check out our tunes/vids, please leave comments and we might even see you at a gig sometime!... cheers.
Not too late to get advance tickets for my shows coming up - including two tickets for £5 for my Birmingham gig (3 Nov). And remember I'm playing with Ebb at the ICA in London (9 Nov) - this is a very special performance and it would be great to see you there. /MaJiKer
Recorded on the roads of Ladbroke Grove to a live street audience. The general public surely enjoyed this late night shebang on their doorstep. Be sure to tell all your friends and spread the word. Who knows, we may be on your street next.
