Theatre. Film. Food. Drink. France is beautiful, and I would be a great fan of travelling the world and seeing things you only generally see in other countries, however the demands of life means my travelling is limited to a week in the sun here of there, or a few days in France avec ma copine magnifique, rather than a year trekking the Himalayas.
Music
Used to be a major Prince fan, and it's great to see he is making a bit of a comeback. Was also majorly into Lenny Kravitz, also great British bands such as the Verve and Ocean Colour Scene in the late 90s. But the one band who I loved more than any other is Liverpool's second greatest musical product, the underrated and somewhat under achieving Boo Radleys. In my opinion their music was more intricate in style and composition than anything since the Beatles, and that they were ahead of their time, and probably still are. But I'm biased.
But now I buy CDs rarely. Arctic Monkeys sound incredible, wouldn't mind seeing them. James Blunt needs to be put through a shredder.
Movies
Favouritest movie is Back to the Future. Gutted that McFly now only brings up images of 3 tits with spiky hair singing in an American accent.
More recently Luuuuurved Eternal Sunshine, Big Fish, Magnolia, Crash.
Television
Peep show is the best sitcom of the past 10 years. not much else to shout about. Oh yeah, Mock the Week - highly intelligent stuff. Tried watching the Friday Night project a couple of times, found it quite boring the 2nd time round.
Books
Recently read "The Time Traveler's Wife" - possibly the most beautiful book I've read.
