Guest appearances frequently include Ken Burnett on mandolin and vocals and Zach Bowden on drums.
The new album also features Andrew Pressman on bass; unfortunately he can't join us often from his new home in Austin!

Roberta Chevrette has been playing music in bars, coffeehouses, and living rooms for the past seven years. From her home in Sacramento to Philadelphia to Austin to Ann Arbor, Chevrette has impressed audiences with her "stunning" vocals, "fierce" guitar playing, and "powerful" performances. Beyond the ubiquitous song topic of personal relationships, Chevrette writes about war, gender, nationalism, capitalism and religion. This has landed her radio play and live appearances on college and public radio stations across the country. Chevrette has opened for national acts such as Laura Love, Jackie Greene and the late Utah Phillips, and her commitment to issues of social justice have taken her from folk festivals to campaigns with the National Organization of Women, even to performing at an event featuring the Dalai Lama.
Over the past couple years Chevrette has lain low in her Sacramento home. Over this time however, her accomplishments include completing her B.A. in Anthropology and Women's Studies and finishing her third album, "Wash Away" to be released later this year.
It's hard to say what lies in Chevrette's future. She's getting married to Sacramento musician, Chema Salinas this summer and both are applying for PhDs in Tempe, San Diego and Syracuse, New York. Wherever the path leads, however, it seems likely that this native Californian will continue to make her voice heard.
