I went out for dinner at this resteraunt called the "Cafe Maya" on Friday Night, and on the dinner menu thy had "New Zealand Lamb ribs" and I thought "OOOOOHHHHH NOOOOO!!!, I Could be eating Sheepey or Robert or one of their sheep friends! AHHHH!!!!" well actually I don't really eat meat, and got veggie empenanadas anyway. But the whole thing was really upsetting!!' Okay.... um sorry... have a lovely day.. er.. night?
We've posted a blog to celebrate Bret McKenzie's birthday, and we hope you will join us in the festivities by leaving a comment on the Bret's big bountiful birthday bash blog!
Thank you,

I had the most delicious lamb burger last night, which of course made me think of ewes.
How strange -- I thought of ewes again whilst trying to fall asleep.
Was packing up my winter clothes the other day, and came across my favourite wool socks. Ewes are in my mind again.
I just can't stop thinking about ewes. No matter where I go, there ewes are. I've got ewes on my mind.
How are ewes, anyhow? (Besides tasty, comforting, and comfortable. ) Are ewes productive? Are ewes entertaining? Are ewes going to be making any claymated appearances anytime soon?
An interesting NZ fact for you (in case you didn't already know...):
From the early 1980s, when NZ was home to over 70 million sheep, the population in 2008 has declined to around 39 million. This means the oft-quoted statistic, that NZ has 20 sheep for each human, is wrong! Nowadays it's only about 9 to 1. This decline hasn't stopped NZ from cornering 50% of all international trade in sheepmeat.
Robert and Sheepy better find some hot lady sheep and get busy!
I feel empty without a new episode to watch :(...but it's understandable, you guys are two very busy men. I send a cheerful 'baa' out to you two. Have an awesome week!
We'd love it if you wish to join in the fun! Please send us cards, pics, poems, videos or anything you want for bret's big 32 at our myspace inbox before june 22nd, and we'll add it to the best birthday blog post ever!
thank you all!

It's been a month and a half and I'm still on this page of comments. That's pretty sad. I guess you've abandoned the pen. I know where I can find Jemaine, but I'm lost without the inimicable Guy Capper. Where else can I find you?
Hi, Jemaine and Guy, Sheepy and Robert, I hope you are all doing well! I wanted to say that where I work they have this little birhday statue of a Sheep and it says "Happy Birthday to Ewe" the sheep or um Ewe also has on glasses. Ir was too adorable and made me hink of ewe. sorry. I'll upload it and send you a picture of it soon! Love, Katie
FREEBIRD! Awesome show, Jemaine. I was in row F and could see you as if you were in my living room... I especially liked the "Angels" song. My sister had to stop me from clapping through it.
