“Noche estrellada. Septiembre 1985. Se cumplía el SUEÑO que me había estado acompañando durante toda mi infancia y parte de la pubertad: Tocar la guitarra eléctrica con mi propio grupo en las fiestas de mi pueblo. Obtener ese reconocimiento popular que todo joven aún por macerar anhela en algún momento.
El guión no se parecía demasiado a como lo había imaginado; aún no poseía esa preciada Telecaster, y la chaqueta roja con empuñaduras negras que creí haberle visto en alguna ocasión a Keith Richards tuvo que ser reemplazada por una vieja y ajustada camisa negra que le robé prestada a mi progenitor. El resto del decorado no podría ser mejor; la plaza hasta la bandera, nuestros amigos, los padres de estos, los nuestros y una gran parte de las tribus nocturnas que empezaban a deambular por aquellos años en nuestro país.
Era la hora de la verdad y aunque con un repertorio endeble y poco vertebrado, el pelirrojo de la inglesa y su amiguito, el hijo del taxista, se habían salido con la suya, ya tenían su Banda de Rock ‘n’ Roll…”
Y así empezó todo.
Nací en Jávea (Alicante) y allí empecé esta carrera de obstáculos llamada Rock & Roll en la que ya llevo más de 23 años. Me considero básicamente un guitarrista y compositor de Rock sin mayores pretensiones.
Mis primeras formaciones fueron 9mm. PARABELUM y LA BANDA SALVAJE, con las que fui descargando Country-Punk por toda la comarca de la Marina Alta. Poco después pasé a formar parte del grupo THE PHARAONS donde aprendí a amar el buen Rock n’ Roll de los ’50. El grupo sufrió un proceso de transformación hacia el mainstream hispano de la época y acabo convirtiéndose en LA RENDICION, con quien tuve oportunidad de grabar dos álbumes “Motel Medianoche” y “Jugar En Las Calles” a las ordenes de Carlos Goñi (Revolver) como productor, y de iniciar una de las giras más extensas en las que he participado a lo largo y ancho de nuestra península, amén de varias apariciones en programas televisivos.
Con el gran bagaje que supuso para mi esta experiencia decidí volver con mis viejos compañeros de fechorías y montar mi primer propio GRUPO: POEME, lugar en el que dar rienda suelta a todas mis inquietudes (Rock, Punk, Hard Rock, Country, Folk….). Llegamos a grabar un mini LP “Las Viejas Doctrinas De Un Prostíbulo” pero después de la última etapa con mi añorado Juan Carlos a la voz, me vi forzado a tirar la toalla cansado de soportar tensiones y no llegar a ninguna parte.
ROSAVIL ha sido el último proyecto en el que he estado involucrado durante los últimos años. Como momentos destacables resaltaría lo mucho que he aprendido de productores como Uwe Hoffmann y Vicente Sabater, la participación y acogida en distintos festivales como el de Las Palmas De Gran Canaria, las experiencias televisivas para lo bueno y para lo malo…, y a todos (imposible enumeraros) los que me habéis hecho crecer como artista y sobretodo como persona. Mi canto de cisne ha sido la grabación de su nuevo disco bajo la dirección de Vicente Sabater como productor, y me he encargado de la mayor parte de las guitarras.
Acabo de finalizar mi relación artística con ROSAVIL e iniciar una nueva etapa en mi vida, así es que si alguien me quiere ofrecer algún puesto como guitarrista estoy abierto a cualquier propuesta.
En el apartado de influencias os podéis hacer una idea de mi estilo y gustos musicales. Las canciones que he colgado resumen (aunque algunas no tengan ni el nivel, ni el audio aconsejable) mi estilo tocando. Todas la guitarras están grabadas por mí (incluso la armónica!!) y me he decidido por temas de mi propia cosecha para que ninguna ‘estrella’ pueda demandarme. Por cierto mis guitarras tienen nombre: TELECASTER.

My first formations were 9mm. PARABELUM and THE WILD BUNCH, with which I was unloading Country-Punk for the whole region of the High Sea-coast. Little later I happened to form part of the group THE PHARAONS where I learned to love the good Rock n ' Roll of the 50’s. The group suffered a process of transformation towards the Hispanic mainstream and it finished turning into THE SURRENDER, with whom I had opportunity to record two albums " Midnight Motel " and " Playing In The Streets " under the production of Carlos Goñi (Revolver), and of initiates one of the most extensive tours in which I have taken part lengthways and width of Spain, altough several appearances in television programs.
With the great baggage that this experience supposed I decided to return with my old companions of misdeeds and to create my first own GROUP: POEME, place in that to give free rein to all my restlessnesses (Rock, Punk, Hard Rock, Country, Folk ….). We manage to record a mini LP " The Old Doctrines Of A Brothel " but after the last stage with my reminded Juan Carlos singing, I met forced to throw the towel tired of supporting tensions and going nowhere.
ROSAVIL has been the last project in which I have been involved during the last years. Prominent moments that I would highlight would be the great things that I have learned from producers as Uwe Hoffmann and Vicente Sabater, the participation and reception in different festivals as the one in Las Palmas De Gran Canaria, the television experiences for the good things and for the bad things …, and to all (impossible to enumerate yourselves) that had made me made grow as artist and overcoat as a person. My singing of swan has been the recording of their new record under Vicente Sabater's direction as producer, and I have taken charge of most of the guitars.
I have just finished my artistic relation with ROSAVIL and initiating a new stage in my life, so if anyboy wants to offer me a place as a guitarist I will hear any offer.
In the paragraph of influences you prune yourselves to do an idea of my style and musical tastes. The songs that I have hung summary (though some of them have not even the level, not the advisable audio) my style playing. All guitars are recorded by me (even the harmonica!!) and I have decided for songs of my own crop so none 'stars' can sue me. By the way, my guitars have a name: TELECASTER.
