(bass, percussions, drums, guitars, keys, strings and Vocals ) ....Long time Modern Poet Mr. ROBERT EMOND was born in Sunny South Florida. As a very young child my parents Yvette Villeneuve and John Paul Emond relocated back to beautiful Cosmopolitan Montreal.............................
My musical beginnings were staged at St-Maxime high school were I took 3 consecutive years of intense classical music ...by the time I reached 14 years of age , I successfully produced and hosted two (2) Rock and Roll Radio Stations for my high school and all the students over....2,000 fans daily.............. . From there I became and was introduced into being a professional DJ for various and busy night clubs such as Kicks located in (downtown Montreal), Le Godet, Le Couloire Rock Club, LeManoir , La Rose Ange, Lips in Fort Lauderdale (Florida) to name a few. This gave me a strong influencial opportunity to promote many bands that were not as popular then as they are currently today. To be part of it all in the heart of it all.......................................................................................
By the time I turned 17 years old, I had the honor and grand privilege of playing bass guitar and became a full time member with our first music Professional seasonned Rock and Roll Band ...called The "Festival of Friends" a Spirit filled band with over 55 and + original songs with very talented and special musicians, Founder/Robert Stefan, guitar, lead, vocals, Founder/Mike Emond, guitar, keyboards, vocals, Carole Pellatt/keys/ guitar/ vocals, Richard Valois/ drums, Robert Emond/bass......................... We performed the bands original songs and music in concerts and clubs alike. We also performed songs from The Who, Kansas, Edgar Winter, Eddie Money, Styx, Doobie Brothers, Queen, Peter Frampton , Kansas, April Wine, Elton John, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Boston, The Cars, Rick Derringer, Foreigner, The Rollin Stones , Rory Gallagher, etc. We gained tremendous momentum and continued favor with the audience and fabulous fans at such a young age. I soon became a certified registered Member of The Canadian Performing Arts, .... and ... The American Performing Rights Organization.......
When I lived in Montreal I had the honor of meeting many famous Rock bands such has Pink Floyd, Rush, April Wine, Aerosmith, Queen, Boston, Kiss, VanHalen, Max Webster, Joe Cocker, Johnny Winter, BTO, VanHalen, etc. thanks to a great guy who made it all possible my good friend Donald K. Donald who produced most of all the shows at the Montreal Forum........... Over the years I've played with several known and unknown bands. Lately In the pass 7 years I've been published in over 10 and more National and International Poetic Books received 4 Major Poetic Achievement Awards from Best Poet of the Year, To Best Poems of the Year and several Publisher Choice awards and Editors Choice awards. .............................................
Recently my solo CD ROBERT EMOND entitled ... "Seeds of Inspiration" was released on.... January 11, 2007 on this cd (only by the true Grace of God)... I was able to play all the instruments, wrote all the songs, and I give Him the Glory.
