My name is Robert Cheek and I am a recording engineer based in Seattle. I have been engineering for about eight years. I enjoy recording all different types of music and try to approach every project with an open mind and a desire to create a sound individual to the artist. So Duke and I are sharing our last tender moments. We've had a long chat about your tumultuous relationship; the highs (when you pet Duke), the lows (when Duke tried to jump on the magazine you were reading) and everything in between.
He's still hung up on you, but I hear there are plenty of bearded men in Alaska. He'll move on... eventually.
So I trust that - after all this time - you've moved from "Deck the Halls" to Rachmaninoff's 3rd Piano Concerto? Perhaps Kanye helped you with some of the rougher patches?
Ya dude peeps are diggin it. Finally got it on itunes. Right now I'm recording two albums by myself (I don't recommend it). I'll probably force you to check em out when their done. When are those other bridges demos gonna be up on the space?
So X and I are driving down J street, minding our own but enjoying the break in the weather and this dude in a convertible sebring is bumping, I mean, BUMPING some bullshit lite105 bullshit and my son looks at me and says, "That's just terrible music..."
