I'm pleased that so many of you seem to like the songs here. Hope you enjoy, there are many, many more where they came from, will try and get them all downloadable soon.
"Back of '69" is available as a studio version on the Slot Records (vinyl only) solo album Everything's Happening along with 16 other classics of psychedelic garage rock and something that sounds like Heard Her Call My Name period Lou Reed playing Reggae with the Clash? Total stun guitar......
What was it the A& R man at EMI said ...... "I like it, but guitar rock will never be popular again" Ha Ha Ha.... ****'s.
"Creepy Crawl" is available in studio version as the B-side of the Monsters in Orbit Records "Men's Hearts" single by my other incarnation as One Million Fuzztone Guitars.
The 50's trash comic "Nation of Cat Killers" and the premonition of what Britain has become of "Abbafan" come from the unreleased "Shiny Metal Heart" LP. There is an "alternative/electro" version of "Nation of Cat Killers" or "The Cat Song" as you like to call it, recorded during the "20th Century Box" sessions (unreleased), with a different riff played on a 60's monophonic Italian keyboard and a 70's synth. Me I like 'em both!
