I've been playing music since i was about five. My first love, the piano, I have been playing for about 9 years off and on. It really taught me how to play and understand the complexity of music. I have been playing the guitar for about two years, and up to this point it hasn't left my side. I have been writing poetry for a while, so it was only a matter of time before i crossed over and combined my poetry with my music. Ever since then, I have performed mainly as a soloist, getting gigs wherever I can, but now I have taken my music, and even though i'm at school now, post band, i am doing everything i can to make a career in music possible. My music has been heavily influenced by great artists like Sufjan Stevens, Jenny Lewis, Jack Johnson, G. Love, and matt pond PA. Music is my life, whether I am playing it myself, or just putting on my iPod and chillin'. Every day, every moment, every feeling has a song, and it is my goal and passion to write one for all of them.
Love the new version of Gone. Your vocals are getting a lot stronger. Can't wait to hear a full-band version of it sometime...and oh yeah, you should def play it at the camp coffee house night.
