Roberto Donati nasce musicalmente come cantante-chitarrista negli anni '60 formando varie bands che spaziano tra diversi generi musicali quali Rock, Pop, R&B, Beat, e Country and Western, acquisendo un ricco bagaglio di esperienze. Tra i primi gruppi che in quel periodo ha formato menzioniamo "I Desperados", "Le Ombre", e "I Bat Bat", con i quali sul finire degli anni '60 e primi '70 ha inciso due singoli con la "Belldisc Italiana" e la "Liberty Record" (ora riproposti in una compilation edita dalla One Sale Music), ottenendo buone soddisfazioni artistiche. Trasferitosi a Roma, si � dedicato poi alla composizione di colonne sonore per il cinema con lo pseudonimo "BUDY" collaborando con registi quali U.Lenzi, H.Sala, G.Mariuzzo, M.Casco, scrivendo musiche per films quali "Cannibal Ferox", Mangiati Vivi!", "Una Donna Chiamata Apache", Emanuelle e Lolita", "Orazi e Curiazi 3-2" ecc. raggiungendo un buon successo. Dopo un lungo periodo di silenzio musicale , si riaffaccia al mondo della musica con il CD "Four Tracks" , composto nel '98, sua prima esperienza di "Home-Recording". Seguono poi diversi album. Tutti i brani della discografia sono stati composti, arrangiati ed eseguiti dall'unico protagonista..... ...... Roberto Donati was born as a guitarist singer in '60 years forming various bands which range among different musical genres like Rock, Pop, R&B and Country & Western, obtaining a rich store of experiences. Among the first groups which he has formed in that period can be mentioned "I Desperados", "Le Ombre" and "I Bat Bat", with whom at the end of the '60 years and at the beginning of the '70 years he has recorded two singles with the Italian Belldisc and with the Liberty Record (now proposed again in a compilation published by the On Sale Music), obtaining good artistic satisfactions. He has then devoted himself to the composition of sound-tracks for the cinema with the pseudonym "Budy", and he has written music for films "Cannibal Ferox", "Eaten Alive!", Apache Woman", "Emanuelle e Lolita" ecc, reaching a good success. After a long period of musical silence, he reappears in the world of the music with the CD "Four Tracks", composed in the 1998, his first experience of "home recording". They follow various album then. In it puts into effect them Compositions, the continuous musician to take advantage itself of the technical tested one of the superimposition of the tracks. All the produced songs have been written, arranged and performed by Roberto "Budy" Donati.
