Roberto was born in Havana, Cuba and raised in Miami. He served 10 1/2 years in the United States Navy and is a Desert Storm Veteran. After completion of his Military obligation, he started a Modeling career that began by winning "Model of the Year" honors at the 1996 American Model and Talent Convention in Hilton Head South Carolina. After the convention he moved to Atlanta where over the next 5 years he performed in over 200 fashion shows, numerous commercial print jobs and over a dozen regional and national commercials. He returned to Miami in 2001 and begins working in Spanish commercials, informercials and more print jobs. Several months later, he gets his "Big Break" by being cast in 2 Fast 2 Furious! After his break-out role in 2F2F he moves to L.A. to continue his acting career. Some of his television credits include PRISON BREAK, GHOST WHISPERER, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, HEROES, COLD CASE, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, CHUCK, THE TERMINATOR: SARAH CONNORS CHRONICLES, LIFE, THE UNIT, NCIS, CRIMINAL MINDS, AMERICA'S MOST WANTED, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, SHE-SPIES, AND THE DISTRICT. Some of his film credits include STRANGE WILDERNESS, AMERICN FUSION, SPIN, THE YARDSALE, MANO, ANGEL WISHES, MATING DANCE, WHAT UP?, DECEMBER ENDS, STRAWBERRIES FOR THE HOMELESS, and HAUNTSVILLE. Roberto recently starred in a television pilot titled “Redemption” along side Oscar nominee John Savage (Deer Hunter) and Oscar nominee Sally Kirkland (Anna).
