I am a guitar player - I love the blues, but I also enjoy playing jazz, funk, country, rock, fusion, pretty much anything. I prefer tube amps (currently using a Reverend Hellhound), but I have a Vox AD50VT modeling amp that I also like. I have more pedals than a man would ever need, but hey it's fun and it's an addiction. I use a 2 x 12 closed back speaker cabinet made by Avatar, loaded with Eminience Wizards. I have lots of guitars, but my main one is a Fender Deluxe Players Stratocaster with noiseless pickups.
Check out my own website at http://www.dolphinstreet.com for guitar video lessons and guitar gear reviews.
My biggest influence is Jimi Hendrix. Call it cliche if you want, but the man was a giant, plain and simple. Others players who inspire me are John Scofield, Scott Henderson, Bill Frisell, Albert Lee, Brent Mason, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, and many more.
I live in Camrose, Alberta, Canada with my wife and 3 daughters.
I have a duo project with my friend Myra called Fundamental Things, and I play with other bands once in a while.
Myra and I have a four-piece band called Myra Marshall Band, and we play mostly blues and country-ish stuff. Some softer stuff too.
For a great guitar discussion forum, check out theFret.Net - a guitar bulletin board I manage. Very friendly atmosphere there!
I was born and raised in Sweden, but I've been living in Canada since 1999. I started playing when I was 13, and now I'm 37.
