At least Lulu didn't come right out and ask, "When's this movie going to be over?!" And it was WALL-E ~ a cartoon, kid-friendly. I think it bothered Rhyan that there was not a lot of talking; she thought she needed to fill the silence =).
Great new pic of Lulu, by the way!

YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS VIDEO!!!!

My opponent co-sponsored the State House's companion bill to the State Senate's bill in this video:

He also was a co-sponsor for a bill that would allow guns to be carried in state parks.
The Tennessee Recreation and Parks Association was heavily against that bill, as it was just as poorly conceived as the one in the video!!!

If I lived in your district, I'd vote for you! Hey, can you get me Obama's autograph?

Seriously man, hope all is going great and it looks like it is! Congrats on all of it!

World Peace Before 2021

May 23 2008 8:33 AM

Dear Rob Russell for US House of Representatives: Thank you for YourFriendship. My eight-year-old-peace-activist son Axil Kollist's quest for World Peace Before 2021 is gaining momentum! I'm so proud of him. Please embrace him AND his song "World Peace Before 2021" which he performs beautifully. His performance can be seen on MySpace, his webpage www. worldpeacebefore2021. com and/or YouTube (by searching his name Axil Kollist.) It is my intention to post a new video of him singing his song every few months so people can watch his talent grow as impressively as the momentum for his quest! I'm sharing two photos with you. The first is of my son distributing his free world peace bumperstickers and the second photo is of him singing his song “World Peace Before 2021” at Maui's Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Day Festivities in January 08. Bt all means, email Axil if you’d like him to mail you one of his free “World Peace Before 2021” bumpersticker or if you’d like to invite him to sing for your function. His email address is worldpeacebefore2021@hawaii.rr.com .Very best regards, Axil's mom

Here ya go, Rob -

Letter to the JC Press:
Mr. David Davis may be proud to promote his A+ rating with www. NumbersUSA. com, but citizens of the 1st District, should they visit the site, will be significantly appalled to discover, as I did, that the our congressman is highly touted by a rabid, right wing, anti-immigration organization that barely disguises its rancid racism.
Davis is praised on www. NumbersUSA. com for co-sponsoring bills that, among other things, would significantly reduce the number of even legal, humanitarian workers to this country; would bar families of legal residents from visiting their loved ones; and would pass a bill to completely strip away the constitutional rights of children born in this country.
In the mean time it is understandable that Davis wouldn’t want us to look at www. themiddleclass. org. For it points out clearly that while the congressman is worried about ‘population control,’ he isn’t too concerned about this nation’s dependance on foreign oil, food safety or fair pay for workers who’s wages hadn’t increased while costs skyrocketed.
And, while he’s tried to strip constitutional rights from some children (including some who no doubt born in his district), he’s also voted against providing health insurance coverage to 3.9 million children who aren’t currently covered through SCHIP (State Children's Health Insurance Program).
East Tennesseans need to be very aware that while David Davis will no doubt use the “liberal” card numerous times this election season, he will not be able to hide behind it. And while he claims to have East Tennessee values, he’s as hollow as a log. East Tennessee values don’t lead a man to turn his back on the American Constitution it certainly isn’t ‘East Tennessee values’ that drives him to attack those smaller and less fortunate than himself. And it isn’t Christian values, either.
So when you hear him use the word ‘liberal,’ just keep in mind that anyone who is ‘agin’ him is a ‘liberal’ - an

You know, if it didn't mean thousands of dollars difference in tuition in-state vs. out, I would totally STAY a TN resident JUST to vote for you, Rob. On the up side, SF has universal health insurance now, so I'll send some good Liberal vibes your way.

Excerpt from the Knox News 8/11/07....

Davis’ vote against penalties for illegal transportation of fighting dogs came under attack from the Humane Society in the wake of the federal dogfighting indictment against Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick.

The Humane Society accused Davis, who represents northeast Tennessee, of giving dogfighters a “free pass” by voting against the federal Animal Fighting Prohibition Act, which was passed by Congress and signed by President Bush in May.

“It should have been a vote against dogfighting and making it more of a felony instead of a misdemeanor,” said Greeneville veterinarian Vickie Howell, one of the protesters. “It’s kind of a black eye for the state of Tennessee and the 1st District.”

Davis was the only member of the Tennessee congressional delegation to vote against the bill.

What a moron.
