Just to let everyone know that our 3rd Annual Winter Benefit," The St. Patrick's Day Benefit " last Monday, March 17th, 2008 held @ Buffalo Bills was a huge success! Thank you all who supported the cause ! We raised funds for The Whistler Food Bank and an Orphan Center in Namibia, Africa ( TOV ) A special thanks goes to all Musicians who contributed their talents & time to raise funds and awareness for this cause, Volunteers, Sponsors, Buffalo Bills Bar and Grill, Steve for putting together sound on the flash,The Whistler Question, The Pique Magazine, Mountain FM and to all of you who came to party with us :)
Our next event will be a two night event in Whistler at the beginning of July ... we're looking for any bands that may be interested in performing at the next event . the First night will be a mix of Reggae and Hip Hop genres and the second night will be a mix of rock, punk etc. Please e-mail an MP3, technical rider, stage plot, Bio and pic to bandsagainsthunger@hotmail.com if your interested / Application deadline is April 15th, 2008 ! All genres welcome :)
