About me:

So, what is there to know about me? A lot I guess. What am I? An artist by profession, comic books and graphic novels by trade. NO, that does not mean I sit around drawing superheroes all day. Maybe one day because, honestly, in the comics biz that's what pays the most. One of my longterm goals would be to sell the movie rights to some of my stories. Currently, I've been doing random Freelance illustration work besides my own comic book projects. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I just recently moved out west to Scottsdale, AZ. Its pretty nice here. A big change up from the Midwest, which is partly why I moved in the first place. I've been labeled "not your typical black guy" a lot. The social and cultural stereotypes in this country are sickening. NO, I don't listen to Hip Hop or Rap music all the time. NO, I don't wear baggy clothes and gaudy jewelery . NO, I'm not into cars with huge rims and tires. I grew out of all that shit by the time I graduated high School. I'm NOT Christian or Baptist(same thing, I know) or into wearing crucifixes or praising Jesus. I actually can't stand organized religion, any of it. It's a form of control and I have major issues with being controlled. If anything, I'm an intellectual that enjoys having a realistic approach and view of the world around us. I'm totally not interested in buying into a belief system that has been told & sold to the masses for thousands of years. I like Myspace. There is something oddly cool about this site. It brings about the chance to (kind of)meet people and groups with similar interests and ideas. Communication, it's all about communication with one another and that's why I'm here. Also to look at pictures of hot women...Hey, I'm a visual kinda guy, hence the 'artist' thing.

Who I'd like to meet:

I like meeting people who are NOT carbon copies of mainstream personality traits. People who are open minded, think for themselves, NOT prudish, active knowledge and truth seekers, NOT judgmental of others, NOT choosing to live their lives in fear, having big senses of humor and like to laugh, NOT overly vain, NOT materialistic, NOT Ignorant, NOT entirely sane, NOT a "religious robot", understanding that each person on this planet is connected to each other. But, hey...I usually try to look for those qualities in whomever I should meet.

    I've literally seen hundreds of movies. Honestly, my favorites are too many to mention! But the ones that come closest to the top would be The Matrix trilogy, Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption, The Blues Brothers, The Last Samurai, Spider Man 1&2, Heat, Batman Begins, Glory, The Crow, The Score, Hook, Devil's Advocate, Trading Places, Troy, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars(parts 1, 4,5,6).......The list goes on, trust me!

    Heroes, PBS programs, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Boston Legal, Law & Order: SVU(Detective Benson is so hot!), Conan O'Brian, Grey's Anatomy, Lesbian Porn.... ;)

    My Friend, Moonie...Milwaukee will never be the same without you. I should have never taken you for granted. Rest in peace, friend. I think my Mom is by far the biggest inspiration in my life. She is the reason why I'm the person I am today. I don't know how she does it, but here's to you, Mom.....Cheers! My Grandpa is pretty high up on the Heroes list too. Hats off to anybody that can raise 12 kids and a couple dozen grandkids....Kudos Grandpa, Kudos! And last but certainly not least....Mr. Smoochie. He's 100% Hero!! LOL

    No dancing? That makes it decidedly less fun. Maybe just art and we can go out in Ray-town for pumpkin martinis or go out for Mexican on the south side. I just wish I would have a real job so I could afford "stuff".

    Oh yeah, and there is this movie called Wacked. You should see it. The soundtrack is like what Nadeanna grew up to insofar as hip-hop. That movie and Brown Sugar are A-1 old skool hip-hop tributes all the way. I mean even if you're not into that, just to get where I am coming from with the poetry and shit...
