Influences
Trane, Brecker, Yardbird, Rollins, Weather Report, James Brown, Maceo Parker, Kirk Whalum. Just about every artist I've ever listened to has had some impact on me. Some good, some not so good. You should never stop learning from any experiences you have.
Sounds Like
I don't know. I don't TRY to sound LIKE anyone. Although I admire many artists, my sound is MINE. At least I like to think so.................................................

I am a Sax player, living and working in the Dallas area. I have been playing for. let's just say, "a lot of years" however, this is somewhat of a renaissance for me. I gave up the music business for a period of about 15 years and just started playing again back in 1998 thanks to the encouragment and support from my wife of 15 years, Michele.
The DFW (Dallas/Fort Worth) area is rich with many excellent, world class musicians and entertainers and I am proud to know many of them.
