Once upon a time, in a galaxy quite close to home, there was a town called Peebles - and in this town there lived a boy. This boy was called Rob and he liked many things like playing guitar and watching Doctor Who.
Amongst the many adventures that Rob got up during his idyllic small town child-hood years, one that stood out was forming a stereotypical teenage band with his brother and some mates. Despite never hitting the big time, except for that headline slot at the school bands night, this teenage band sparked off something inside of Rob. A lust for playing songs, and not just crappy covers, oh no!, Rob wanted to write them too.
The bandwagon rolled on, and Rob was spirited off to the windy seaside town of St Andrews, where he found himself taking classes with famous people, growing a Mohican, and shopping for junk food in Tesco's at midnight. The life outside of the classroom provided ample inspiration for lyrics and the many hours procrastinating and avoiding Uni work altogether allowed Rob to hone his guitar playing skills to perfection.
Now with graduation looming done, (provided he didn't spend too much time on the guitar) Rob will have the time to concentrate on the mixing and general pimping up of his many barebones tunes. Expect to see some modern classics here in the very near future.
