I'm a son of a Mother and Father who was big on Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley,
Sam Cooke, Aretha, Frank Sinatra. All them had an impact on me. But so do alot of current artist. Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop, 50 cents , Kanye West,
John Legond, Anthony Hamilton, Akon, Jill Scot, Musiq, Fugees. All the way down to the starving artists scouring around here in Manhattan. There's nothing like the struggle to help bring out the best in you. Oh I almost forgot Red Man. And now even more so than ever Bikram Yoga
Sounds Like
This sound posses the sensibilities of rock & roll, funk, jazz, reggae to hip hop and R&B soul. It sounds like progressive music with no boundaries.
If you love lyrics and wit. It's there for you. If you love cool melodies
and catchy hooks. Its all there. No better way to explain the sound other than you listening to it. Well there you have it. I've formed my open opinion
after giving a good listen. Now I invite you to form yours.

away my father stayed. See him holidays with my cousins I played. Eating channa roti ice cream home made. I’m all grown up now, although the child in me won’t let go. I still enjoy the simpler things in life. I love to entertain and provoke chuckles from the smiley faces of people that loan me a moment of their time. My focus right now is to share more of myself to the massives. Myself being my body of work. I have so many songs sitting around waiting to be heard. These songs want to be sung and inbedded in the hearts of many.
Big shout out to Carter Beauford (drummer for DMB). Though I haven’t heard from him in
a while. I’m so ever grateful for him letting me open up ten of their "1999" Dave Mathews Band tour. What a blessing to be playing in front of thousands of people. That was 7 yrs ago, but it seems like yesterday. It has a lot to do with me still doing music today.
As far as the ladies go, I’ll stay loyal and true to every last one of you.
I’ve got lots of love for the ladies, they have a lot to do with the inspirations that I get. Plus I love seeing them all sweaty in my Bikram Yoga classes.
So a big shout out to all the women in the world that helped keep me creative and fit. My mother
played a big part in that. She bought me a piano when I was a kid. She’s passed on now do to cancer in the pancreas. I miss her so much and wish she was here.
To all my fellow musicians out there, keep the hustle in the struggle to be heard. We’re starting to take things into our own hands as it should be. I wish it didn’t have to be that way. But its a total need for it. We as artist for the most part just wanna do art, and don’t wanna be bogged down with the industrial politics of it all. Hey, it is what it is.
As long as I’m in love with what I do as a singer song writer. I will stay loyal and committed to my goals in sharing my music with you.
one love amongst many,
RA
