About Robin Bailey

Robin is, very unusually, a singer-songwriter playing the mandolin. Robin's mandolin style has been described as 'funky', 'jazzy' and even as 'outrageous', influenced by players such as Sam Bush, Dave Grisman, Andy Statman and Jethro Burns. Robin's songwriting is an eclectic mixture influenced by songwriters such as Kirsty McGee, John Hiatt, Eliza Gilkyson, Warron Zevon and Mary Gauthier. With a mixture like this, and funky mandolin playing, Robin's got to be worth a listen!
