   About Robin Brodsky
Singer/songwriter ROBIN BRODSKY is currently recording her debut CD titled "Songs from the Seventh House" - a bluesy mix of tunes that clearly shows her influences, as a young girl growing up in the 70's listening to Linda Ronstadt, Carole King, and Carly Simon. Her background is in musical theatre, having attended the Stagedoor Manor theatre camp in the Catskill Mountains for five summers as a child. After attending Syracuse University as a theatre major, Robin spent a year on the Spirit of Boston cruise ship as a singer, performing in a cabaret group, as well as belting out solo performances of Patsy Cline and Natalie Cole favorites. Her TV & film credits include Clint Eastwood's "Mystic River" and Showtime's "Brotherhood", as well as commercials for Finian's Restaurant & Six Flags. After singing with the surfer-pop group The Come Arounds, Robin went back to her soulful roots when she began writing the songs for her upcoming CD. With "Songs", she teams up with award-winning guitarist and producer, Tony Savarino (World's Greatest Sinners, Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra, The Montgomerys), and drummer Mike Levesque (David Bowie, Dave Navarro, Susan Tedeschi) to create a honky-tonk sound you would swear was recorded in Nashville. But the sounds are actually coming out of the acclaimed Moontower Studios in Cambridge, engineered by Darren Ottaviani, keyboardist for The Plain Janes. The deep, sultry tone to Robin's voice has been compared to Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, and Susan Tedeschi. "That's Just How I Roll" was played on 95.9 WATD-FM & on The Soupy Gato Show and The Mark Baars Show podcasts. "Freedom" was played on The Open Mike Cafe podcast. She is currently on ClearChannelMusic.com as a new artist, which features her song "Freedom". She has also written songs for her daughter, GRACIE. The track "I'm A Kid" was played on The Gooney Birds Kids radio show on Live 365 out of Atlanta, GA. "Songwriting is my passion first and foremost. I love writing different styles of songs for different artists", says Brodsky, "I love to sing my own songs, but my hope is that an aspiring or established artist takes one of my songs to the top. If anyone wants to record any of these songs, or needs a break-out hit song written for them, please let me know!!". Robin is registered as a BMI songwriter. And she wants everyone to know that, no, she is not related to Chuck or Joseph Brodsky but, yes, she is related to Stephen Brodsky of Cave In.

Your eyes sparkle with a true beauty that is so rare these days. You find solitude and a deep satisfaction when you take a walk in the woods. You desire the comfort and silence of mother divine whispering her healing in your busy mind. She is slowing down your heart rate and calming your sensitive soul. Effortlessly people are attracted and deeply affected by your actions. At times your heart is imprisoned by the pain and fear of the past. Don't let the critical and judgmental people in your circle of friends. Draw you into their dark world of emotional insanity and toxic thinking. You are a beautiful old soul who knows what is best for you. Listen daily to your inner voice the innate compass of knowledge and infinite wisdom. That is the true path to fulfillment and inner peace. Move clear from family and friends who do not serve your highest purpose. It is our natural birth right to be filled with dreams and desires of a joyous almighty love. Be playful and spontaneous in your spare time. Let your heart soar and be set free from you’re past fears and regrets. To awaken to the divine embrace of the heavenly Fathers intention for you. That is only found when you live in the flow of this magical moment.
