The debut album of RBC captures the spontaneous excitement of their live shows as well as showcasing the brilliantly inventive guitar orchestrations of Prince Robinson, who provides five of the original compositions. Two more come from the pen of Colin Bass and there are two “classical interludes” arranged by Prince Robinson from Bach and William Byrd, plus a full-tilt rock version of a classic track from Camel: “Cloak and Dagger Man”.
From full-power three-way improvisation to quiet passages of compelling beauty, the music of Robinson, Bass & Clement encompasses a spectrum as wide as their collected experiences. Evoking the psychedelic 60’s with their spontaneous and open approach, they mix elements of Blues, Funk, Progressive Rock and more to create a fresh contemporary take on the classic rock trio concept.
Los Angeles-born Prince Robinson (guitars, vocals), has played with a long list of diverse artists including names such as Ike Turner, Thelma Houston and Dizzy Gillespie. He became a familiar figure on the LA session scene and was a member of keyboardist David Garfield’s acclaimed Karizma band. In 2000, reacting to the rising tide of anti-social nationalism in his country, he took himself off to Berlin, Germany. From his new base he has recorded three albums: Burning Desire, an album of his own songs featuring Alanis Morissette’s rhythm section of Gary Novak and Chris Chaney; Almost From Sunrise, a collection of classic Blues songs dressed in sparkling new and surprising arrangements and Expiation, a selection of original instrumentals and guitar arrangements of classical pieces, enhanced by his spoken-word poetry.
Colin Bass (bass guitar, vocals) was born in London, England. For almost 30 years he has been known to many for his distinctive bass playing and singing in progressive-rock legends Camel. He was also, in the 80’s, a member of the "world-music" pioneers 3 Mustaphas 3 and he has worked with many top international artists on record, on stage and as record producer, including such names as the Klezmatics, Oumou Sangare, Ofra Haza and Steve Hillage. He has released four albums under his own name and a series of albums recorded in Indonesia under the name Sabah Habas Mustapha. He first met Prince Robinson while both were admiring a gathering of birds in a Berlin tree, discovering not only a shared interest in avian matters but also that, although growing up on two different continents in the 1960’s, they had both been in love with the British actress Hayley Mills. This naturally led to an invitation to play on Prince’s Almost From Sunrise album.
Denis Clement (drums, percussion, guitar, keyboards) hails from Maniwaki in Quebec, Canada. His prodigious musical talent was recognised at an early age and he went on to study Jazz and Classical music at the University of Montreal. An in-demand session-player he is accomplished in a wide variety of styles. In 2000 he joined Camel and appeared on all their subsequent albums and tours. He is now based in Sweden where he runs his own recording studio. In 2007, an invitation from Camel colleague Colin Bass to play on some dates with Prince Robinson sowed the seeds for the Robinson, Bass, Clement project.

Welcome:) I was at your concert in Andalusia am very happy with him. I always dreamt of seeing and hearing you live. My dream has been slow to meet the damage that was not with you Latimera I wish him speedy return to health, for You are with me every day from around 15 years. My dog is called a Camel It has already 9 years old - so I have to believe that dreams are allowed to meet but always something.. It regrets that there was no Leydy Fantazy but was Leydy ..
