About me:

The Robinson Film Center is a Shreveport, LA-based 501(c)(3)not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide a venue for independent, international, and classic film while serving as a resource for film production and film education.

Located at 617 Texas St., The Robinson Film Center will house two state-of-the-art theaters as well as a screening room, multi-use spaces for public events, a café featuring a variety of healthy dining options, a film library and more.

Much more than a theater, The RFC will serve as a hub of filmmaking activity, serving the needs of filmmakers and encouraging film production at all levels - from the grade school class creating their first film to multi-million dollar productions seeking resources in the Ark-La-Tex region.

Ummm, yeah, so update the ol' page there. Lost was like, a week ago. Nothing worse than a kick-ass place losing touch with their MySpace. Put up a pic of Val Kilmer there or something. I know that totally rocked! Just saw "Young @ Heart" and loved it! Can't wait for "Son of Rambow" due out, Friday June 20th at the Robinson...Totally bad ass!

I posted a remark on your event page about the "Lost" showing. It's a great idea, but the actual finale is two hours long from 8-10. I doubt many people will give up watching the first hour to get down there for the second. The second won't make much sense without the first. Before that, from 7 to 8, there is a rebroadcast of the epi from last week (which is actually the first part of the finale) with additional footage. It would be great if you could show all three hours, or at least the two new finale ones. If you can do that, I'll be there with bells on.

Love the new theater...Love IT! The new restaurant is fantastic as well. Really, I'm gonna try and come at least once a week to show my love and support. This is, without a doubt, the coolest thing Shreveport has had in a very long time...The spirit of the Quail Creek Cinema lives on here! Me n' my girl will most definitely be back! Thanks for bringing this to town!
Justin
P.S.- "In Bruges" was great! Next, maybe "Son of Rambow"?
