Robinson's influences include: Dinosaurs, Hip-Hop, Silence, Folk, Country, Black Metal, Jazz, Balkan Brass, Korean Opera, Rock AND Roll, Old Tymey, New Timey, 4/4 Timey, Nocturnes, and most importantly, THE BLUES (Indigos, Marines, etc.) Robinson sounds like: A ninja horticulturist who's been trained to reduce postmodern music to its roots. Robinson: a giant nerd who resorts to self-effacement when asked to describe himself in the third person. -

Bio:
Robinson was torn from his mother’s womb with the umbilical cord wrapped twice around his neck. It was the hottest day Madrid would endure that year.Since then, moods have improved all around. He grew into something of a sing-songer, his influences ranging from Woody Guthrie to the Wu-Tang Clan.
Convention obliges him to refer to his music as “folk,” though he’s always been uncomfortable with the term.
Give a listen, and categorize it yourself.
