Music is a big interest of mine, and now I am involved with a musician so his band is a really big part of my life. Dancing around my place to reggae music. Vanilla scented and/or flavored things (chocolate is a food group, not a favorite, as is coffee). Lip balm. Green (the color). I love to read. Drum circles are amazing, I am addicted to djembes. Campfires, trees, stars.Photography, philosophy, though I don't practice a lot of it just now. Friends. And sushi, love the stuff! And I recently became a PEZhead so that goes on the list!
Music
Vonzeles (see top friends), great musicians and really awesome people. I love the shit out of those guys, hanging out with them and their music as well. Expect to hear more about them.
In general I love all kinds of music but ska is my favorite. I also love reggae, the classics (rock), local musicians. But really, Vonzeles is where it's at and I really want to see those guys do well and I know they have the talent to do it. Watch some of their videos below and spread the word!Movies
I like almost anything with Denzel Washington in it, Kevin Spacey, a lot of Nicholas Cage films. Fight Club is a great movie, Shawshank Redemption I loved also (one of the few movies I've found that does the book justice). I laughed a lot at Nothing to Lose, though I am not normally a Martin Lawrence fan. I love comedies, dramas, Indie films. I am not big on chick flicks or gratuitously stupid humor. I like films that have a plot twist and make me think.Television
When I can, TLC, IFC, Discovery, Food Network, you get the idea. I do love Whose Line is it Anyway? and Corner Gas, Family Guy, The Simpsons. I don't have control of the remote ever and usually I am on the computer when the TV is on anyway.Books
I can never remember all of my favorites. I used to read a lot of King and The Stand is still among my favorites. Atlas Shrugged is another. Brave New World...I'll get back to you on this one.Heroes

About me:
I used to be a full time philosophy student with an aim to get a master's in library sciences but my second summer working at The Yosemite Bug near Yosemite turned into an extra semester and then I just never left, until late June of 2008. I used to coordinate events and groups, manage the Bug MySpace account and book the bands, amongst other things. I am in love with a man who plays music full time. He's the drummer for Vonzeles and they are awesome! Great musicians and great people. He and I did the long distance thing for 8 months and then I moved. So, here I am, in Arizona in the summer, looking for a job. I may finish my Bachelor's degree at some point, but for now I am pre-occupied with other things.Sometimes I am a hard ass, sometimes a romantic, sometimes a basket case. I am tired of talking about myself now.
