Robin met two-time Grammy Nominee Frankie Fuchs on the set of
“Aint Got No Home,” a PBS Special highlighting Woody Guthrie's life.
Portraying Lefty Lou on the "American Masters” series, Robin gained
great insight and appreciation for Woody's music. Woody's publisher granted
Frankie permission to record an undiscovered song of Woody's, "Hot Rod Money."
Moving from Austin to NYC, she developed
relationship's and worked with some of the top musician's and producers in the business. Represented by George Stein (Jeff Buckley's Manager), she became a highly sought vocalist, arranger and writer. She fronted Gary Lucas/Jeff Buckley's band, “Gods & Monsters,” and opened for Jerry Garcia's, “Ratdog,” and KD Lang.
In LA, Robin has worked and collaborated with Frankie Fuchs, Ted Kamp
(Shooter Jennings Band), George Clinton's Production Company, The Middle Class, Scott Detweiller, VAVV Records and many others. Utilizing all of her talents, Robin has numerous National Jingles and Voice-Overs to her name and has appeared as an actress on "Jimmel Kimmel Live," "Sarah Silverman," and "Ghost Whispers."
