I have been writing songs and making records for a while. As love letters. As romantic prognostications. As the musical equivalent of bottle trees.
Gully is here. On Madjack Records....................

Here's a picture I took of ya, opening for Lucinda Williams in Washington, DC a few years back. It was a fine show, I must say. Hope you'll come back again soon.

Honest songwriting filled with powerful and thought provoking lyrics. Blues and Gypsy influenced Rock music with vintage feel, yet an original and innovative style and sound. -It's music you like.
"Ain't No Levee" is kickin' my ass! Love it! I'm hoping you post some more gigs soon so I can make the trek from Little Rock and check you out! Ever come here? Thanks for the inspiration....John the Revelator got caught up in the razor wire....
Just a few words to tell you how I appreciate your gig. It was strange to see you in a blues festival where the people didn't come there to listen to these kind of stuff. But you can take them very high... So you're great man !!! As I told you, you remind me Peter Hammill (the Van Der Graaf Generator's leader) in two of his best albums (Over and Nadir's big chance). Glad to met you there and proud to be part of your friends.
Most of you Memphis folks know and love our good buddy Don Perry, photographer extraordinaire. Well, next Friday, 2/27, Don will be having a photo show at the Hi-Tone, and we'll be playing. I think the doors will open around 8 and you can come and check out Don's amazing pics, and even buy some of it. Don is doing really great work around town, documenting the music scene and the city of Memphis itself.
As usual, there's no opener. We'll start up around 10-ish, but get there before that so you can enjoy Don's photos without a couple of Fenders squawling in your ears.
The cover is - you guessed it - five bucks. See ya there!
