For those of you who don’t know me, I live in Penn Hills, PA with my wife and two sons. My primary occupation is as a social studies teacher in the local school district. On the weekends I play music at Hebron Church. It was my time in this church that really cultivated my interest in music. When I was in 7th grade, the youth pastor there, Jerry Zeilstra, had the bright idea of having me play guitar during our music time at youth group. I hadn’t been playing very long and I’m sure if there were recordings available of those “sessions”, they would be quite humorous. Anyway, over the next decade and more, despite my attempts to pursue other interests in life, God has redirected me to music.
