Robotone is a music business based in Ross-shire. One of the main activities of Robotone is to promote electronic/experimental music in the Highlands, whether this is helping musicians working in the area, or bringing well-known acts to the north. Robotone works with local acts such as Joystick Discotheque, Shutter, Araya, Plexus and Teleshift. As well as creating performance opportunities in other parts of Scotland, the acts have been given the chance to perform at festivals such as Belladrum and GoNorth, and at Robotone events in the Highlands, supporting the likes of The Orb, Herbaliser, FC Kahuna and Slam. Robotone regularly provides sound, visuals and lighting, as well as running music technology workshops in the Highlands.
