Important part of the project is also the sound dimension of the project which is going to be manifested as sound design of public space in which RoboVox appears and as the catalogue of the project which is going to be a book with A/V DVD. Also where it will be possible the opening event will include a concert with live acts of musicians involved.
RoboVox A/V catalogue is a compilation of music from many international sound artists: Vector Lovers (Soma, Iwari), Plaid (Warp Rec.), Random Logic(rx:tx), DJ Borka (Codeep), Menu B (couch rec.), Moby Dictator (Fi) and others.

About me:
RoboVox is a large (8mhigh) interactive public sound installation by media artist Martin B. Bricelj, using SMS for general public interaction. It will be installed in crowded metropolitan squares (London, Helsinki, Barcelona, Beijing, Paris, New York, Rotterdam, Novi Sad, Berlin...), preferably on those carrying some social or even political connotation.
Its purpose is to serve as a tool for an individual, who's voice usually gets lost in the sounds of the mass, the society. An individual can send a text message using his mobile phone to the dedicated RoboVox's number. Upon receiving the SMS RoboVox says out loud the statement, the protest, the declaration of love, or whatever the message may read, thus lending its voice to the anonymous individual.

The mission.
Public squares used to be central places of social interaction and individual's engagement in public life. Monuments were raised on these spots in order to symbolise and represent the political/ social state/ orientation of the country.
Robovox is the first public monument, which travels from country to country. At the same time, it activates public space into a place of communication, social interaction and playground. As a sculpture it symbolises active engagement in public life/ matters by giving you the opportunity to speak your opinion and let it be heard. Its aim is to motivate individuals to involve and speak about public matters, to provoke debates and thus reflect the state of mind of each society.
The Author's primary interest in the project is an artistic exploration of ways of expression of an individual and her/his role in the conglomerate of the otherwise statistically unified results of public opinion polls. Therefore, Robovox is also an attempt for further research of conditions of communication in different parts of the World.
