As one of the founding members of the Dutch electronic synth groups PERU and NOVA, Rob Papen has experienced much celebrated success for his musical compositions. Papen is also well known throughout the world today as a sound designer. Two of Papen's virutal synthesizer designs, 'Albino' and 'Blue' are used by many top musicians and sound producers. Blue has been featured in Keyboard Magazine, receiving excellent reviews.
Besides being a Christian Music Artist, Papen's musical tastes are expansive. In fact, he simply loves good music. From Bach to Lenny Kravitz, HipHop to R&B, and artists ranging from Depeche Mode to James Brown, his tastes are all reflected in his sound products.
Daydreamer is Rob Papen's debut solo release. Studio recorded, Papen used his own custom virtual synthesizers in the making of Daydreamer.
Rob, thank you so much for the software you have made. I really love using my Albino 3. I use it now in ways people couldn't believe and in almost every track I write. Just like the new track I posted called, "Autumn Leaves In Motion". In that track, I'm using synth sounds to drum and percussion hits in that track as I now often do. Hello Rob ! Thank you for adding me ! Your synths are fantastic, and especially versatile ! I must confess, I use mainly some other stuff (Emulator X, impOSCar, etc...), but every time I open one of yours, I ALWAYS find what I'm looking for ! And that's a fact !
