I was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. My earliest musical influences were my parents' records. A few that come to mind are Michael Jackson's Thriller, Joni Mitchell's Blue, and Steely Dan's Aja. I started playing guitar when I was twelve years old and I can't stop. Since graduating in from McGill Universtity's Jazz Studies program in 2000, I've played with a lot of great musicians from all over the world. I live in Brooklyn, NY and hope to be here for a while.
