Growing up in the early 90's & listening to House & Techno was a major influence on Rob, so becoming a dj was a natural progression.
Having heard the House sounds of Derrick Carter, Jesse Saunders, 808 State and the Techno sounds of Plastikman, Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath & Most recently Paul Woolford allowed Rob to discover his own sound, combining everything he liked into one.
At 19 years old Rob Started his own night, called 'Friction', which was held at one of the U.K's most infamous & Underground club's called 'The Mint Club'.
It was at this night where He showcased not only his own talent, but some of the finest talent to come from the North of England, some of which have gone to play for massive event's, including numerous 'Cocoon' night's in Leeds.
At 22 Rob was Featured in the U.K's underground Music Magazine called 'Traffic', in which he was featured for his skill's behind the deck's and his production efforts.
Rob has held and continues to hold residencies across the U.K, and has played alongside respected name's, such as Tim Sheridan, King Roc, Mike Monday, K Klass, Steve Mac, Sarah Main, Riley & Durrant - just to name a few.
Fast forwarding to 2008 see's Rob become the manager of one of The North's most Vibrant and original Label, 'Breakout Audio'. A Label that has accomplished more in 18 month's than most label's do in a decade, having a string of exciting releases from Paul Woolford, Audiojack, Deepchild, Mistress De Funk, Deadset, gaining support from the industry's biggest & best, & Hosting Label Parties across the world in some of the best Venue's, Including 'La Terrazza' in Barcelona, & 'Back To Basics' in the U.K.
Rob's latest work in the studio allows him to indulge in his more Electronic style, and His Debut E.P was released through 'Selektor Music' in The State's.
With many more singles, remixes and collaborations on the way, as well as Booking's in Ibiza & Italy, 2009 was the turning point of his career...
