Sounds Like
If Simon and Garfunkel both married Regina Spector, and had a child, not knowing who the real father was, who then married Damien Rice...
Rob’s music is that noise inside your head when you see balloons set free and heading into space, a couple hand in hand – lost in each other’s minds, when he leaves her, when she wakes up, somewhere totally foreign and familiar and comforting at the same time, when you finally see a baby pigeon, and when you catch yourself smiling in the mirror.
Rob's first music video!
Now, normally music videos have folk singing along to a backing track, but when the song only has vocals, why not just sing it live... in a forest? That'll never work...
“Wonderful set from someone who will go far... you MUST hear Rob’s immense recording at www.myspace.com/robsproulcran”
"Some things last longer than skin. Than scar tissue. Than the dull, beating ache in your heart that will never die down. Quietly breathtaking." - Out Of The Bedroom Reviews
Rob Sproul-Cran is a Singer/Songwriter.
At heart, he is a story-teller, building songs around intriguing and sometimes tragic characters. The line between their experiences and his own is forever blurred.
Quietly establishing a reputation in Edinburgh, and receiving reviews such as those above, Rob has played at The Liquid Room, The Ark and Princes St Gardens, among others. He is currently recording his debut EP.
Hey Rob! I weirdly assumed we were already digital compadres (as well as, more importantly, actual pals), and we all know what happens when you assume... it makes amuses! No, hang on...
