Rob Vision aka Dobbs ability as a DJ, mixing up Breakbeat, Progressive and Balearica has led to back room residencies at both BACK TO BASICS in the early nineties, and UP YER RONSON during SASHA's 12 Nights Of Summer residency. Over the last 10 years Rob has guested all over at places like BUGGED OUT, PROGRESS, ELEMENTS, TURNMILLS, BACK TO BASICS, THE ZAP, NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL, and THE VELVET ROOMS, as well as guesting all over Europe. He has also promoted + DJed at many underground progressive + breaks nights in London such as BIG BLUE with DANNY HOWELLS and ASHLEY CASSELLE, SONIC MOOK with RENNIE PILGREM, and the ZAP with BLU PETER. Dobbs also ran the BANTER club in London with JONATHAN LISLE from BEDROCK, and is currently guesting at clubs like AUDIO DELUXE, JUNKTION, and QOOL in San Fracisco.
Rob produces under various names like DOBBS / THE ESCAPIST and ROB VISION. As a producer Rob is causing quite a stir on the Breaks + Progressive scene, John Digweed has opened 2 of his Kiss FM shows with DOBBS singles, and Cass says that DOBBS single 'Skydeck was "One of THE tunes of 2002" Dobbs Productions + Remixes have been played on Radio 1 by Mary Anne Hobbs, and supported by DJs as Diverse as Groove Armada, Rennie Pilgrem, Anthony Pappa and Steve Lawler, + Adam Freeland. More recently Rob has remixed for big labels like Global Underground / Sinister and Ark..
