Robert Voisey is a composer and impresario of new works primarily in New York City. He seeks innovative and creative approaches to promote the music of today's composers.
Writing electronic and acoustic chamber works, Robert Voisey’s writing style oscillates from Ambient to Romantic. Voisey embraces a variety of media for his compositions as well as seeking new venues to disseminate his music and reach audiences.
Rob will be performing next at the Bowery Poetry Club on January 1st and Fine and Dandy January 11th in a collaboration with the poet Anne Cammon.
In 2007, Voisey participated in the Tempest project with his work by the same name. His work “Contstellations” was also performed at the TRANSreveLATION concert in New York City and has been selected for performance at the EMM festival (Electronic Music Midwest). His solo piano work, "stark" received its German debut in Munich, Germany at the A*DEvantgarde festival.
The 60x60 project released his work, "tongues," on the 2004-2005 CD release of the project.

His selected work for the 60x60 (2006) project, “We are all 60x60” has also received several performances with the 60x60 project on 4 different mixes in cities including Munich, Oakland, St. Louis, and Chicago.
He has written theme music for radio shows, theatre productions and short film. Voisey also became a member of ~chromatik_d_zabu.tmp where he composes music over the Internet as one part of a collective effort.
