This was the video clip to my first single off my 2003 "Rough Around The Edges" album. The song was "Same Ol' Love" & it scored me alot of finalist nominations in awards throughout the world as well as being awarded the 2005 Australian People's Choice Award for "Best Song". It has also been a VERY popular song with Country Music fans (including the line dancers, who have a dance for it) & the video clip is well known & loved by people who have access to Pay TV's Country Music Channel in Australia. The video clip features myself, my other 1/2 Keri & my Border Collie Rex & it was shot at the Weston Petshop, 3 minutes from my home. The video producer was the very talented Ross Wood. The self produced album consists of 12 original songs written/co-written by Rob & was recorded in his own recording studio, “Longhorn Studio”. The first single is the self-penned title track, which tells of Rob's love of Country Music & shows exactly where he is coming from these days. Rob & his band are highly recognisable on the road c/o his tour bus, a 40-foot Denning coach that he has converted into a fully self-contained motorhome. The bus not only acts as transport/accommodation for Rob & his team of highly professional musicians but also helps promote his shows via the impressive sign writing on it’s exterior.
