About me: I spend a lot of time writing... mostly investigative journalism, social commentaries, satires, sometimes profiles of artists and people doing important social work, sometimes other... Check out robwipond.com for more than you want to know. Somehow, I have no idea how, I've managed to survive while doing it for 25 years or so. And even better, found some friends through it. I also sometimes help write songs with Michael Bell and Martin Gallop, my friends below. I'm thrilled that a song Martin and I wrote together, "Silver Lady", appears on the new special edition CD "Teilzeithippie" from German pop princess Annett Louisan. I have lately been learning to make videos like the one below.
Generally, I take myself painfully seriously. People laugh at me sometimes, at which point I sometimes call myself a comedian to help me deal with the humiliation.

Oh wow. I'll have to get on top of that. I hope you enjoy the show. The thing I find so amazing about Victoria is the air. It makes me realize how dense LA and New York can be.
Rob, well yes it is evening here. Depending on where you are, it's a 6 hour time difference between here and EST. I've heard the western coast is gorgeous. A friend of mine is originally from the Vancouver area but is moving to Toronto for work. She spent a stint here in Italy and is moving back.
Haha, I didn't think of that at the time. The photographer wanted me to look like I was being flattened by intense wind. Now that I think of it, Bowie was supposed to be under the album's plastic wrap, wasn't he?
