Senza dubbio uno dei piu' importanti produttori presenti nel panorama dance italiano degli ultimi anni. Abruzzese d’origine, la sua passione per la musica si fa viva dall’ eta' di 5 anni, quando inizia a giocare con un vecchio “mangiadischi” arancione ed una tastiera; a 13 anni scrive la sua prima canzone mantenendo sempre vivo l’interesse per gli strumenti musicali. Entra a far parte del mondo radiofonico ed impara ad usare i giradischi; cura la dizione ed inizia a condurre concorsi, spettacoli e manifestazioni in pubblico.
Nel ’92 partecipa al quiz televisivo “La Ruota Della Fortuna” e con i soldi della vincita si trasferisce a Milano; approda come Dj Resident al “Fellini” e seguono negli anni numerosi Dj-Set in tutta la penisola.
Ma la svolta avviene nel 96 quando scrive e produce“Runaway” primo singolo del progetto THE SOUNDLOVERS che diventa in poco tempo un successo internazionale.
Seguono i singoli “Surrender” “Walking” “Living In Your Head” fino alla consacrazione come autore e produttore con la Hit “Up & Down” della Drag Queen BILLY MORE, che nell’estate del 2000 diventa un vero e proprio fenomeno in tutta Europa. Seguono altri progetti di successo come SOUVENIR D’ITALIE, RSDJ e HOTEL SAINT GEORGE. Nel 2005 apre insieme a Simone Vitullo, l’etichetta house GO DEEVA RECORDS con la quale mette a subito a segno il successo club mondiale “My Washing Machine” dei SIKK. Attualmente Roby Santini, continua a scrivere e produrre nuove canzoni, lavora come DJ freelance, presta la sua voce per spot pubblicitari, jingles radiofonici e cori.
Nell’agosto 2007, la svolta artistica con un album completamente scritto, prodotto e stavolta anche cantato da lui, dal titolo “Il Ragazzo di Campagna”…9 divertentissimi inediti pop-folk in italiano e la cover in versione samba della sua hit Up&Down. Notevole il riscontro radiofonico ed ottimo quello del pubblico.

Born in Abruzzo (Southern Italy) a couple of decades ago, Roby Santini is without question one of the most important in Italian dance music of the last few years. His Passion for music goes way back to age 5 when he starts playing with his old orange record player and a keyboard; at 13 he writes his first song but he keeps his interest for musical equipment alive. In 1992 he competes in a TV Game, where he wins!!! With the money won he moves to Milan where he begins djing all over Northern Italy and where he meets the producers he will work with. Two years later, he goes to a recording studio: the result is “Run-Away” first song of the much acclaimed group “THE SOUNDLOVERS”. It will outsell all over Europe and will reach the Top Ten in Germany, The Netherlands and high placement in Spain and Eastern Europe via The Polydor label. He repeats his success through the years with: People (1997) – Surrender (1998) – Walking ( 1999) – Living In Your Head (2001)…In the meantime he’s the wildest club’s resident Dj, ZIP CLUB (CONTATTO), in Milan, where he meets a Drag Queen, soon to be a dance music star: BILLY MORE. Roby, writes and produces for her UP & DOWN with which he reaches against the European market…Along with this he’s also touring “DJ & Singer Liveset” all over Italy. Other productions to notice are SOUVENIR D’ITALIE and the fashion dedicated song “Boys&Girls”; RSDJ and the Pop-Dance project HOTEL SAINT GEORGE.
Actually Roby Santini continues to write and produce new songs, works as a freelance DJ, voiceovers for spots, radio jingles and background vocals. Along with Simone Vitullo, he owns house music label Go Deeva Records.
