Faith No More, Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, Van Halen, Satriani, White Zombie, Rush, Tool, Guns N Roses, Iron Maiden, Disturbed, System of a Down, music of other cultures, the punk era, the 80's metal era, and many eras in between.
Rochambeaux is the Arizona based hard rock project that uses the familiar elements of popular metal, pop, and rock and sonically combines them with unconventional song structures, pitch black heavy compositions, the occasional softer lounge tune, and tastes of obscure hidden humor.
With no larger agenda or platform higher than simply making creative fun music, Rochambeaux touches on brilliance in mixing heavy Sabbath era power chord laden rhythm guitars, with wandering melodic lead guitars somewhere between the styles of Satriani, Van Halen, and Slash, along with a thunderously solid rhythm section, all helmed by a vocal mad man who has no set style other than a smooth erie voice that jumps around borrowing from multiple legendary influences.
Our 1st album, Midnight Symphony, a mostly mellow collection of vintage, oddly recorded songs, is available now at CDBABY.COM, ITUNES, and various other digital vendors. Click the link below to purchase or listen to the album.
We are currently in the studio completing our 1st real studio release, This Holy October, which will hopefully be completed in 2009. Most of the songs in our profile are from this upcoming release. In the meantime, if you just can't wait for the album, download demo versions of the new songs from our Snocap music store, right here on the site.
Thanks for all the support, spread the word and feel free to add us as your friend.
When are you guys going to release that hit track "Gila Bend"?
I should have a music video done for a band here in Madison by the end of June at the latest. It's a mix of Tool videos, the "Take on Me" video, and Sin City with a couple dashes of emo psychadelia and head trauma.
