I am extremely lucky. I have a great family, fabulous friends, a good job, and an awesome band. I'm proud that I've been able to conquer the obstacles I've been challenged with. As we all know, life is not always easy.
I learn something from every mistake I make and try not to make the same one twice. All I want is to be a good person.
When I write lyrics I am much braver than I really am when I speak. I am able to write things that I wish I had the courage say. Sometimes I worry that someone will read between the lines and discover me. But most times I worry that no one will notice me at all.
Music is my escape and my love. It is so powerful that it can completely take over my mood rule me emotionally. There’s never a moment I don’t have a song playing in my head, whether I want it or not; whether I like it or not . . . . . but I always appreciate it.
