I am an Operatic Lyric Soprano with over 20 years experience in Opera, Musical Theatre and Jazz. My wide vocal range has allowed me to explore both Mezzo Soprano and Soprano roles. I currently enjoy singing a wide range of dramatic, lyric and coloratura soprano repertoire. I began singing at the age of 5 when I played a singing tree in my elementary school's adaptation of Snow White. This sparked a passion for performing which led me to study music and performing arts. By the time I left High School I already had several stage roles and solo performances under my belt, including an orphan in Annie, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, soprano solos for Handel's Messiah and the performance of several solo arias for professional chamber ensembles and repertoire companies. My experience afforded me the opportunity to study with the prestigious Oregon Repertory Singers, and allowed me to tour Europe with the Oregon Ambassadors of Music, singing in several noteworthy locations including Westminster Abbey.
I went on to study music at University, participating in Opera and Jazz groups, as well as Musical Theatre Productions both at University and with local theatre companies. I've most recently performed at Her Majesty's Theatre in Sunday Night Live!, a musical theatre showcase, and at Southwark Playhouse in Secrets: Export Quality doing two solo arias during the Tribal Fusion event. Over the next few months I will be performing in Alceste and La Traviata.
As well as performing, I also work as a private vocal coach. I have been working as a vocal coach to children and adults both privately and at local Community Schools across the US and UK for over 10 years.
