Out of the eclectic music scene of Los Angeles comes a brand of music that transcends time and genre. Rochester Road was born on the beaches of L.A., but the roots of "The Road" stretch from Venice to Chicago and all the way to New York.
This five-man rock outfit features electric and acoustic guitars, keys, drums, bass, and some soulful singing. Their sound has been compared to everything from The Grateful Dead to The Red Hot Chili Peppers to The Doors; however, the band maintains a unique versatility of style that lends them an originality all their own.
While they have the mainstream appeal of some modern rock bands, their improvisation and creativity gives them the appeal and spontaneity that fans of jazz and jam expect from a live show.
Last month, Rochester Road had the privilege of working with veteran producer and famed drummer of "Steely Dan," Rick Marotta. Thanks to him, we are very pleased to present the first of many new tracks now available online...
This Fall, Rochester Road will be back 'On the Road' doing what they do best, bringing you countless new tracks and shows heading East to do some extensive touring of the Eastern Sea-board and throughout the Mid-West…
