Hi,Im a local designer in a lil city called Des Moines. I love and prefer to work with fantastic fabrics from the 1960's and 1970's and I'll dabble in the 80's when I'm feelin it! I work out my own fantastic designs sometimes working with t-shirts and other found objects reconstructing them into dresses...because I love them to pieces! Metro Arts is now accepting applications for Two Rivers Expo, the November arts festival held at Hy-Vee Hall in downtown Des Moines. 150 artists will be accepted in 13 categories: 2D mixed media, 3D mixed media, ceramics, drawing, glass, fiber, jewelry, metal, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood.
You can apply by visiting Zapplication.org, finding Metro Arts Two Rivers Expo under "Participating Shows" and creating a profile. The application fee is $35, and all applications must be received by May 15.
